For football fans, nothing can be more rewarding than watching sports live but unfortunately, due to the coronavirus outbreak, these huge sports events are not possible. Luckily, we can still be updated with the latest sports happenings using sports-dedicated apps like the newly launched Yahoo Sports app. Yahoo Sports has been around since the late 90s and they were able to establish a great reputation when it comes to delivering the freshest and the greatest sports events.
They have covered various sports including WWE, NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, college football, college basketball, NASCAR, golf, tennis, FIFA World Cup, UEFA Champions League, Premier League, arena football, boxing, CFL, Olympics, and many more. How Yahoo Sports Works?
The Yahoo Sports app is wonderfully optimized for mobile devices. Much like its PC counterpart, the app offers a simple and user-friendly interface that allows you to easily navigate and explore its content. To get started, simply download the Yahoo Sports app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. If this is your first time using the app, you will be asked to select your favorites. Choose a sport you prefer and select a team you want to follow (you can edit this after). Tap Done and you will be prompted to the main screen. The app will also ask you to sign in using your existing Yahoo Account so you can access the app across different devices and also to access all your saved sports.

The navigation panel below the app only comes with 2 main icons; Home and Scores. The Home section provides the latest feed about sports. This includes Today’s Games and Upcoming Events. It also displays your chosen team. Tap the logo of your team to get more details and updates about them. The Team’s page will give you quick access to Team Info, Stats, Games, and Squad. The Scores tab, on the other hand, will give you the latest scores from your chosen team as well as the latest updates to all sports worldwide. If you tap the Menu icon on the upper left corner of the app, you will get access to a new panel showcasing quick access to My Sports, My teams, Fantasy Premier League, Notification Center, Settings, and more.
